| normally i dread summer's end, but considering the busy summer i've had...i'm grateful. i did enjoy what i was doing, which included school, work, and interning....but darn i really lacked hangout time. certainly something to be made up...and i cannot wait = ). though i definitely will not let it affect my grades. senior year is not the time to start slipping
so what's been going on...
i've stepped up my french game. ok, so i won't be chatting it up with a french guy exactly, but i got the next best thing...some canadian dude.
on a side note. there was this guy from Beijing and he wanted to take a picture with me. So of course I complied. And then he was like "thank you, thank you. you are so beautiful". and so i thanked him for the compliment and then in comes my co-worker, "you know, we're trying to marry her off. so the next time you're in america, u should stop by." and why was he like "oh, oh! i'm coming back! we already had plans to be back here." i giggled, assuming this was a joke. and then he continues, "no really. i will be back in america. i will visit. you're a pretty girl." so my first thought was, "um, now i'm not too sure if i should've taken a picture with this dude. who knows what he's gonna do with that" = /. second thought: "hmm, but if the career doesn't take off....mail ordered bride is the next best thing!" = ). lol
oh yeah, today was the last day at the internship site. R.I.P. Artisan. *pours liquor on ground* it was nice while it lasted *tear*
and now that i'm not crazy busy and ultra tired...looks like i'll be back on aim (starting tonight!) tsk, tsk. some things never change....

Yes, Italy sloppily won the World Cup due to yawn-worthy penalty kicks, but France is still the shiznit. B/c hey...who won Wimbeldon's Women's Finals - not Italy (totally laughable), not Belgium (ha..juju), or anyone else. It was good ol' France. Bringing Mauresmo her 1st Wimbeldon title ever! And totally deserved, which we can hardly say about the shit-fest parading around as a world cup game. Don't worry France, we got them in 2010 ; )

| Okay, just in case anyone thought I was killed in a crash or something...don't hold your breath dear hopefuls out there. i'm still alive darnit. I know I've been MIA on AIM for a while now...but I'll be back. It's just that for some strange reason I've been going home and hitting the sheets far earlier than planned. i'm thinking it's the tight summer schedule or maybe my body's like "amanda dude, i'm so getting some much needed rest w/ or w/o your permission." Nevertheless, tonight it's on. The battle will be live: Me Vs. the Infamous Sleep. It'll be difficult and hopefully I come out victorious. If so, I'll be making my marks on aim.
Thurs, 6/22: I'll be heading to Screen on the Green (Piedmont Park) next thursday to check out Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's gonna be hella cool! One the atmosphere there is nice and two...how cool is it to see such classics on the big screen. So hopefully, some of the pals can join me. if not, there will be other times right? = )

| What's been going on....
Well, I've started my internship at Artisan. This is my second week and it's pretty darn cool so far. Ha, i'm actually at work right now, but I have a little down time. I've learned some really neat stuff and I got some amazing ideas for the feature I'll be writing this summer. Let's just say the research will involve interviewing "kept women" aka high end call girls. I'm quite sure I can find a lot of those around the sweet areas of Atlanta (i.e. buckhead, midtown, etc).
Oh, I went to a friggin' sweet party on Saturday. My pals Casey and Lisa threw it b/c they are now official GSU grads! Congrats to them! Oh yeah, and I drank a few beverages while there and let's just say things got a little funny. Especially what took place in poor Lisa's bedroom. haha. Omg, crazily I didn't get home until like almost 5am...and I had to go to work that morning! I know, silly me. Anyhoo, it was worth it. i had a blast. Oh and apparently little Martin's gonna throw a party pretty soon so I know that's gonna be pretty cool....I hope. lol.

Wow, I haven't been here in ages. But of course it was all for a good cause. Fortunately, I've finished the large part of the movie so far. The video portion is complete, now I'm just waiting on my awesome music composer to create a nice score for me and I'm good to go. Oooh yeah, and Ken's gonna make the dvd background for me - so I know it's gonna be hella hott. Woohoo! But ew, next comes the part in which I work on a stupid press kit *insert grimace here* Nevertheless, as a whole I'd say I'm pretty psyched about the project, and nervous at the same time. I hope it'll turn out well, but I guess only time will tell. Speaking of such - anyone who wants to view the finished product can come join me and fellow filmmakers at the May 3rd screening, starting at 4:00pm. And friends - you all better support me, damnit! (makes stern momma face). lol.
